We had a very nice stay , would stay again for sure. I absolutely loved the chicken strips and fries best I ever had.

We stayed on our way thru to Kenora and on our way back. Fantastic staff. Dined in again and it was great food and service. Rooms are nicely appointed and clean.

Very warm pool. Pool deck could maybe use cleaning more often, but still passable. Rooms are large and comfortable. It’s our go to hotel in Thunder Bay. They also have pet friendly rooms.

Stay was on April 18th and I am still waiting for the $150.00 security deposit to be reversed from my credit card - current date April 23

Check in was quick. Bed was very comfortable. We were a little hesitant about dining in after reading reviews but we were impressed with the food and the excellent service.

We had an amazing stay. The jacuzzi and business suite were awesome, spacious, and luxurious. Thank you. My son had a most wonderful birthday, the restaurant was delicious and mama had a soak! The pool was warm and very kid friendly 🫶🏻

Have been staying at this Inn whenever I am in town over the years and it just never disappoints., great food and place is spotless, staff is helpful. Its all you can ask for.

We enjoyed our stay at Valhalla hotel! Not only the hotel was great, but the staff was very friendly and informative. Being close to the airport and offering free shuttle and park 'n fly as an amenity was definitely one of the highlights! We recommend staying here!

Room was spacious & had clean sheets plus the staff both in restaurant & hotel lobby was friendly, I had a good overnight stay and definitely will rebook with Valhalla again

Great spacious rooms, they have a half decent restaurant and proximity to the airport… definitely give the place a 5 outta 5, the staff were friendly, room clean, a little gum not much equipment but enough for an hotel workout, nice pool

i always enjoy my stay at your hotel. I go to TB monthly on business and always stay at the hotel and actually rent out one of the conference room to hold my monthly team meetings.

Very clean & comfortable , staff friendly. Normal cost would have been excessive but with hockey team group rate it was about what we would normally expect to pay for equivalent accommodation.

Always enjoy staying at the Valhalla in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Front desk staff is friendly & courteous and always willing to go the extra step. Parking is also good.

The only issue I have is that the restaurant wasn’t prepared for the volume. Five hockey teams staying there and they weren’t ready for breakfast. I’m sure this was noted. I think we waited for 40 minutes for bacon and eggs. Just an oversight I guess.

One waitress was trash, talking a customer and our table heard it. , We did give other staff a heads up that we could hear her bad mouthing him. He wasn’t in our group, but we know him a bit. She is way too spazzy to be a server. A smaller blonde girl probably in her.20’s. Our server was two days new and she did a great job. She didn’t complain to our table at all that she was too busy and she was really nice. She’s a social worker she said. Props to her.

Every time I stay and ask for email receipt at checkout, the desk agent confirms my email but I never receive the receipt by email. I always have to call for a receipt. This is every time I ask for email receipt and why I now say no, print me a receipt now. I said yes mail it, confirmed my address and it never arrived.

Everything was really good. I thought everyone was friendly. Just thought maybe buy an extra vacuum cleaner sometimes the floors are a little dirty in the dining area.

I didnt need laundry done or shuttle The room looked clean but the floor needed to get swept and only one chair it was abit difficult to sit on the bed.I did asked for a chair and it was old chair back in the 80s, one short leg. We enjoyed our stay it was quite bed was very comfortable.

A large luxurious Hotel, exceeded my expectations. Room was modern, updated and huge. Has amenities that most others don't, Restaurant, pool, fitness facility that are actually worth using.

The manager helped me out in a bind I thought I booked the 2nd but accidentely booked the wrong jight for staying they changed the reservation and helped me out. Thank you Valhalla for unserstanding and helping a returning customer in the future.
