The hotel is beautiful. It looked as it has undergone a Nice renovation. However, there seems to be no attention to detail, i.e.over-flowing garbages, artwork not straight, and cigarette butts and trash littered the front entrance. At 3:00 AM someone on our floor was beating loudly on their door and a female was screaming like someone was killing her. Very unsettling. Then at 3:30 the fire alarm went off for a long time before it was shut off by the fire dept. Lots of unsettling commotion and not a lot of sleep.

Good: The Valhalla has been beautiful for many years, and it has been several years since I stayed there last, but it was more beautiful than ever this time. The a/c worked perfectly and was very quiet. The room was immaculate and even though the hotel is quite close to the runway at the airport and our window faced the runway, the room was very quiet at all times. Parking is plentiful and the pool area is very beautiful with wood beams overhead and wood everywhere. Bad: There was nothing at all that I did not like about the Valhalla.

Good: Buddy at the front desk was nice enough to check me in at 10am after working night shift until 6am. He could tell I needed to sleep. It was very much appreciated!

Staff was great, beds are ok, rooms could use a little more deep clean. Size of the rooms are fantastic. The restaurant is always so so for the food.

Clean rooms, service was a bit lacking at the as I had to wait until after 5pm for my room to be ready and when I tried to check in they had no idea when my room might be ready.

Was ok but a lot of noise outside all thru the night. People drinking. Front desk said they could not do anything…

Good: Rooms are very nice and comfortable. Shower pressure and temperature is awesome. Bad: The patio sliding doors need replacing they are very hard to open. More ice machines and clean up of the grounds.

Excellent stay in with excellent lodgings. Only problem was I booked a room with two queen beds, but was told on arrival they could only give us a room with one King bed. It was an excellent room and bed, but concerned that apparently when booking through Expedia there is no guarantee you get what you book due to booking delays. Not a big issue but could be depending on one's needs. First time ever it happened, but staff did not seem to be too sympathetic about it. Hmmm?

We stayed here on our cross country move, there's plenty of parking space so we had lots of room to park our 26ft Uhaul with car hauler. We stayed in a pet friendly room with 3 cats and a dog. The room was a nice size, the bed area was sunken which was a neat feature. There's a restaurant in the hotel so we ordered from there and we were happy with the food. Everyone we interacted with was friendly.

I have stayed at Valhalla Inn countless times since 1982. The room price is a bit high. I love the location and hotel amenities. I have attended numerous conferences there also. It is MY hotel in TBay!

Room cleaned to what you can see come to find sitting in chair it was also a bed i opened it up to see and what looked like it wasn't really cleaned there was no sheets or pillow made in the bed and tissues inside when i opened it my guess is that it was cleaned in a while it was skipped in the part of cleaning in the room but other then that the room was great quite comfortable stay and air conditioning works great other then other hotels in the city

The inside of the hotel was upgraded but the immediate area outside the front entrance, including the steps, needed a facelift and a good cleaning. It was very dirty with cigarette butts all over.

Always like staying here. Its a great hotel. And the best in the area. The two newer hotels next door are not worth the money and this hotel is great. Rooms are clean. Hotel staff very nice. They have drive up rooms so you can just park by your room and use the sliding glass door to your room. Overall, a very pleasant stay. Thank you.

There was an incredible amount of garbage around the premises, including the court yard. A bench in the court yard was broken. My room was not cleaned/freshened during my stay, either.

Rooms are new and upgraded with comfortable beds , lobby is in need of housekeeping and there were interesting characters loitering around

The hotel looks a little dated from the outside but the room was very modern and spotless. Extremely quiet, very comfortable. Would happily stay here again.

The room was great. Their Stal restaurant does look like a Long House. Only criticism I have is that they need to vacuum the hotel lobby and corridors frequently through out the day as it's a very busy hotel and definitely needs regular cleaning
