I didnt need laundry done or shuttle The room looked clean but the floor needed to get swept and only one chair it was abit difficult to sit on the bed.I did asked for a chair and it was old chair back in the 80s, one short leg. We enjoyed our stay it was quite bed was very comfortable.

A large luxurious Hotel, exceeded my expectations. Room was modern, updated and huge. Has amenities that most others don't, Restaurant, pool, fitness facility that are actually worth using.

The manager helped me out in a bind I thought I booked the 2nd but accidentely booked the wrong jight for staying they changed the reservation and helped me out. Thank you Valhalla for unserstanding and helping a returning customer in the future.

We had a few glitches that were not service related more hotel policy related which are somewhat restrictive in some areas.

Good: Easy to access, close to the airport, good restaurant on site along with snacks available in lobby, comfortable and very clean rooms.

i called with my cell phone to the front desk to report that the phone in the room was not working and i needed to request a wake up call. The worker who took the call said she will send maintenance to my room. After waiting for an hour, i called back to the front desk with my cell phone and a different worker said the maintenance worker is off until the following business day. So i asked, how do i get a wake up then? The worker did not offer an answer - like they didn't care.

It been 5 days business days and I haven’t got my 150$ and there was a false 300$ that I was told I was getting back soon as well.

The security guard on nightshift was very over baring and rude. It was very uncomfortable and unnecessary for paying customers. She tried to tell our son he had to stay in his room, she opened the hotel room door to our friend’s hotel room when the boys were in there. I hope you take into consideration that we are paying customers and we were not the issue. We probably won’t choose to stay here again as a group.

Security let themselves into our room (door was locked) because they wanted to count how many kids were in our room. I did not appreciate this . No one was in danger, it was not an emergency.

I give it 5 stars for everything! One suggestion for improvement: the quality of the towels—they were a bit uncomfortable when I used them.

I like staying at the Valhalla. The staff is friendly and efficient. One of the reasons I like to stay here is because there is a restaurant on site., however the food is below standard. I recently dined at the restaurant and had the chicken cacciatore and thought it was good. A ordered the same dish a month later and it wasn’t good. The potatoes weren’t cooked and the chicken had no flavour. So disappointing! Another time my husband and I had the fish and chips. We both suffered from indigestion afterwards. I think the menu is good , there are enough choices . Also I have had breakfast at the restaurant and thought it was very good.

It seemed like grand central station downstairs at all hours. It seems it is a roadcrew hotel among other things. We found it very appealing and nice as it was quiet at night despite the continual late night arrivals The restaurant was quite good - salad fresh and tasty, burger fairly simple and tasty 😋 Server - little older guy-was a good friendly chill person. Power to us older guys who “just know”.

Had water leaking to the floor in the tub/shower. It was an issue in this room previously obviously as the flooring had lifted in various areas and has been causing water damage between this and the rooms downstairs potentially. I mentioned this to house keeping and they started to look into it….

It's nice hotel but last time i ordered number for me and my mom here i got room with 1 bed for some reason (we changed room after)

Clean rooms and staff are always great. Hidden gem of a restaurant beside the lobby. Great spot for Thunder Bay. Even offers airport shuttle service

We were placed in an accessible room. High toilet, like I needed a step stool to get on it and I’m 5’1”. No body wash in the shower. Bed very comfortable and slept well after a long flight. Very handy to have the shuttle available

I found the room to be newly renovated, very clean, lots of storage for clothes and room to move around. The food was VERY VERY good. Had 3 lovely breakfasts and a couple meals with friends and we all thought the food was great. Restaurant and front desk staff very friendly and accommodating.

The service great, cleanliness superb, the only thing was the heating and cooling unit. Very noisy. Almost called for an other room but we were so tired from our flight we just managed.
